About the Study
The purpose of this clinical study is to evaluate how safe and how well this drug is to prevent pregnancy in adult women with uterine fibroid or endometriosis. The study drug is
FDA-approved to manage heavy menstrual bleeding associated with endometriosis.
Who can Participate?
Be a woman 18 to 50 years of age and have regular menstrual cycles that are between 21 and 35 days (approximately 1 week of bleeding each month and 3-4 weeks of no bleeding between
periods). Have a diagnosis of either uterine fibroids with heavy menstrual bleeding or endometriosis with moderate-severe pain. Be sexually active and at risk of pregnancy. Be willing to use the study drug as the only method of birth control for one year.
